Sugar Creek Factory Metal Cutting Torches Arts Fire
Firefighters quickly put out a fire that started at Arcitell LLC at 750 Edelweiss Drive late Wednesday morning, said Deputy Fire Chief Terry Burkhart. He said the fire started when workers used torches to cut metal from behind the building. Burkhart said someone came in and said the roof was on fire. It was 11:00 a.m. when they arrived at the fire station. After 10 to 15 minutes, they spotted a fire on the roof behind the building and put out the main fire. Firefighters needed more time to completely extinguish the fire between the roof layers. They left the scene at 1:00 pm.
